It was back in the good old days when State of Origon was played, and
Croad and Caracella were selected to play for Victoria.
It was the selction night, and Croad and Caracella had just found out
they were in the team. They were at Croad's house, when a big flash of
light accured.
Caracella, who was familiar with the science of star trek recognised it
as a time portal.
"It's a time portal". Exlaimed Caracella.
Through the time Portal appeared slim looking Ron Barassi and Billy
Brownless.
"Trent.aim for the left point post" Said Billy
Billy Brownless and Ron Barassi went back through the time portal.
"Shame Ron Barassi didn't say anything" said Croad
"I wonder what "Aim at the left point post could mean?" wondered
Caracella.
---------The game------
They were playing the evil western Australia team. It was late in the
4th quarter. Croad was on a 5 bonce run, and he kicked it to Caracella.
He
was 54 meteres out, and there was 15 seconds left. Croad ran inside 50,
and
Caracella resepected the lead with the old 1-2.
Croad marked 25 meteres out, and the siren went. He needed to kick the
goal or the evil western Australians would win by 5 points.
There hadn't been any breeze all day, so Croad was confident.
Caracella
went up to Croad and said "remember what Billy Brownless said". Croad
pondered. Should he aim at the left point post?
He decided yes. It was lucky too. At that the precise time when he
kicked for goal, the roof of colonial (which had prevfented the wind
blowing
previously) came off. The kick did a loop the loop and went through the
goal. Victory for the victorians, and man on the match to the before
unmentioned Tony Modra, who didn't represent either states.
