Callinan is unrated as he is only a rookie.
I don’t see him staying on the rookie list for long though.
At 28, they have recruited him for a reason. To play, and to play now.
After playing for Tassie at state level (within the VFL competition), Callinan has spent the last few years playing in the SANFL – and dominating both competitions.
Rumour has it that height is the only thing that has prevented him from being taken in previous years by other clubs.
Listed as Mid/For this year and just over $80K makes Callinan a steal.
He will play, he will increase in value both to you and the crows.
He has to be the Michael Barlow of 2011.
Let’s just hope he can elevated early in the season so we can pick him straight away.
If not, there are plenty of other mid/for that you can replace him with – but for value and for instant impact – Callinan is number one for me.
