It had to happen in a 17 team competition.
One team has to have a bye in the last round.
The last round is Dreamteam Grand Finals, and if you think you are any chance of winning your competition this year, what are you going to do with your Essendon players.
In reality, this might not affect many players. Watson, Ryder and Stanton are the higher scoring players on their list, and Heppell will be a good rookie. However, none of these players will win you a grand final.
If you pick any Bombers you need to ensure you have the trades or cover for these players when it comes to round 24. A doughnut in a grand final is unacceptable.
If you think you are a chance of taking out the competition this year, think long and hard before picking a bomber. I think I will only approach their first year players. Win value, and burn them once their price is high!
